One Childhood - One Chance

Homework task Friday 14th May

This week in Art, we have been learning about environmental and man-made patterns.

In Art, we have learned that patterns are designs in which lines, patterns or shapes are repeated. Also, we have learned the difference between environmental and man-made patterns, that man-made patterns are designed and created by people and are often based on science or mathematics and environmental patterns are those which exist in the natural world around us.

Your homework task this week is based on pattern. Select to focus on either environmental or man-made patterns and present a piece of homework based on an aspect of your choice as long as it links to pattern. E.g. You might like to take some photographs of man-made or environmental patterns that you can find in your local area, you might like to design your own repeating pattern or find out some more information about either man-made or environmental patterns. The choice is yours! A chance to get creative-think outside the box!

Due date: Wednesday 19th May 2021
