Thomas Beckett was killed by four knights after falling out with King Henry II. Thomas Becket was made a saint and many people came on journeys (pilgrimage) to visit the place where he had lived and died. Canterbury soon became the most important pilgrimage site in England. 

For your home learning task this week, we would like you to demonstrate a special journey you have been on. This could be through artwork, writing a recount or a description, creating poetry or even a comic strip! The ways of presenting your work are endless! Time to get creative Year 4.
