What a fantastic start back to school 5R have had! I am so incredibly proud of them as they have worked so hard in all of their lessons and they have shown the Upton Way throughout taking part in a number of different activities. This week they have: 

• Started a new class text. 'There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom' working on their inference skills 
• Taken part in drama activities 
• Been Swimming 
• Done a range of games in P.E 
• Learnt about peer pressure and anxiety linking it to the book The Dot 
• Completed a colour run! 

What a busy and amazing first week! What a delight it has been getting to know the children in 5R!
