This week, we have been enjoying our text Floodland, and our main character, Zoe, has arrived on Eels Island to find a band of almost feral children living inside a collapsing cathedral, surrounded by the ever-rising sea. We have created our own incredible pictures of cathedrals and written a setting description of the cathedral using amazing vocabulary, our senses and figurative language. There were so many brilliant pieces of writing, but here are some to enjoy.
