4G considered reasons for and against this week in relation to our current text Gregory Cool. The main character Gregory has so far been pessimistic about his time in Tobago visiting his Grandma and Grandpa! As an English group, we discussed reasons for Gregory staying in Tobago, and we also argued reasons against this considering why he should return home. We then split into two groups and created a conscience alley. One person walks between as Gregory and one side of the alley shared reasons for Gregory to stay and the other argued against and tried their best to persuade Gregory to go home. The person playing Gregory then shared the most memorable of phrases they heard and what their final decision was. Great fun!
