Happy New Year! I hope you all rested well and had a lovely Christmas and New Year. Thank you for any presents that you so kindly brought in at the end of last term.

Firstly, it has been great to see all of the children this week. Well done to Leo for being our first Pupil of the Week for Term 3.

Yesterday, we travelled to Margate by train to receive a rail safety talk. We had a fabulous morning learning all about how to stay safe when travelling by train and when crossing train tracks - which should only be done at the site of a level crossing. The children also looked at (and felt how heavy!) different materials and tools used on the railways. Well done to the children for participating well and behaving superbly. Their positive behaviour and politeness was commented on by the staff running the workshop - well done 5B!!
