Another great week in Year 3! 

This week in Maths, we have been looking at place value; number lines to 100 add how to represent and partition numbers to 1000.

In English, we have started reading this term's text 'Voices in the Park'. The children have retold the story through a diary entry and begun writing a character description. 

In UBBC, the children have learned about their family trees and the timeline of their lives; including all the big events that have happened in their lifetime.

Next week:

In Maths, we will look at number lines to 1000 and finding 1, 10 or 100 more or less.

In English, we will continue reading this term's text, 'Voices in the Park'. The children will be learning how to write their own narrative. 

In UBBC, the children will be creating character profiles about themselves including all their favourite things.

 

Upcoming events: 

Monday 19th September - School is closed for the bank holiday in honour of the Queen's funeral.
