Key Messages:

• Please send your child into school with a pair of outdoor shoes, so they are able to go on the school field. 
• Rs and Ys are swimming; please make sure they have their swimming kits on Mondays. 

• For the next few upcoming weeks the children will not be set mymaths tasks, instead they have been given logins and set quizzes on the maths.co.uk website. The children have been informed about this and shown how to login. For more information please see the letter that was sent home with your child.
• Non- uniform on Monday for Red Nose Day
• Please can everyone bring in a cereal box for Wednesday.
• Parents are invited to read with their children and look through their books on Friday 24^th at 2.45.

• Easter Workshops at St Peter’s Church for 6B and 6G 28th March (1-3.00) and at Queens Road Baptist Church for 6R and 6Y (1-3.00) 

 

Home Learning Task 

This week year 6 have visited the Ramsgate tunnels. Your homework task this week is to create an information page all about the tunnels. You can use the information you learnt whilst we were there and also find out more from the website. You can present your findings in anyway you like!

Weekly Review: 

Another fantastic week in year 6!

In English the children have been continuing to read our class text ‘Letters from the Lighthouse’ and this week have written beautiful setting descriptions of the lighthouse.

The highlight of our week has been visiting the Ramsgate tunnels. The children have been so enthusiastic about their WW2 learning and it was so interesting to learn more about the part Thanet played in the war.
