Year 3 have had a brilliant week! Including the Viking Games, where children from across the Trust came to Upton for a morning of sports activities.
We also finally said goodbye to our beautiful butterflies. The children had a fantastic time brining the butterflies out of the nets one at a time on their fingers and releasing them into the world (see photos below).
In our thematic curriculum this week, we have completed our It's a Small World topic and the children completed an end of unit quiz.
In English, we have been writing a guide for how to look after a tortoise following a visit from a real-life tortoise on Friday last week.
In Maths, the children have been learning a range of different skill across the maths groups including; measuring mass and capacity, multiplying and dividing and using money.
