The Chinese Dragon Boat Race is an event that has taken place for over 2000 years. People hold this race each year to commemorate the Chinese Poet Qu Yuan. As Mandarin is our modern foreign language, we have decided to have our own Dragon Race Game on the school field! This will take place on Wednesday 12th June. We need some creative pupils to have a go at designing a bold red dragon that can lead the group of pupils in the team. 

We would like it to be:

• A3 sized (double A4) on paper, card or shield shaped 
• Dragon Head
• Mainly red, gold or green

Have a go, and hand in your designs to the Art Room by Friday 7th June.
