One Childhood - One Chance

Year 6 Weekly News: 12.07.24

Another busy week!

Summer Fair

A huge well done and thank you to our incredible children. Their enthusiasm and creativity in planning and resourcing their stalls were nothing short of inspiring. From games and crafts to delicious treats, each stall was a testament to their hard work and imagination. Thank you also to families for your encouragement, time, and contributions. Whether you helped your child prepare their stall or donated items, your involvement made a significant difference. Your support not only ensured the success of the fair but also demonstrated to our children the power of community and collaboration.

It's Showtime!

As we eagerly anticipate our Aladdin production, we are thrilled to share that this week’s dress rehearsal was a resounding success! The energy, excitement, and dedication from everyone involved have set the stage for what promises to be an unforgettable performance.

The costumes were nothing short of phenomenal. From the vibrant colours and intricate designs to the careful attention to detail, every costume brought the characters to life in the most magical way. The children have poured their hearts into rehearsing their lines, perfecting their choreography, and fine-tuning their musical numbers; their commitment and talent have shone brightly, making every rehearsal a testament to their dedication and passion for the arts.

We can’t wait to share the final performances with you on Monday and Tuesday; the children are ready to dazzle you with their singing, acting, and dancing, and we’re confident that their hard work will be evident during every moment on stage. These performances are not just a showcase of their talent but also a celebration of their teamwork, perseverance, and creativity. As we count down to the opening night, let’s continue to encourage and celebrate our young performers; their journey from rehearsals to the final curtain call is a remarkable achievement; we couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments.

See you at the performances, and get ready to be enchanted by the magic of Aladdin!
