The Speaker Competition

This year's title is:

A World in Crisis—Climate Change

The children will need to prepare a 2-minute speech about the subject above.  During these two minutes, they can present their work any way they like. They can stand at the front and speak, use flashcards, prepare a PowerPoint and even bring in props to support what they are saying.  They can also interpret the title any way they like choosing a particular area to focus on.

Key Dates:

• Week beginning 13.01.20 – class competition heats to be completed by the end of the week – 2 winners per class. Class Teachers will tell the children when they will be doing it in each class.

• Week beginning 27.01.20 – year group competition heats to be completed by the end of the week – 2 winners per year group

• Tuesday 4th February during assembly—outside judges—winners selected to represent Upton at the Trust Final.
