Hello Yellow Day - Thursday 10th October
Upton will be supporting Young Minds again this year – a fantastic charity that works with young people to support their mental health.
On Thursday 10th October 2024 your children can come to school dressed in yellow (it could be one item, or ALL items of clothing yellow!) for a donation of your choice.
All the proceeds will be going to the Young Minds Organisation.
There will be an assembly about the day on Monday 7th October. On Thursday – which is Hello Yellow Day - the children can wear yellow. They will also have the opportunity in lessons to explore and discuss positive affirmations and what makes them happy. We will be learning about the importance of our mental wellbeing and strategies we can use to feel calm and self-regulate.
The theme of this year’s Hello Yellow Day will be: “wear it loud, wear it proud”.
