This week, we wrote a speech to persuade Bradley's class to give him a chance and to be his friend. The children used all of their existing knowledge about Bradley and how he behaves, to write a speech. They focused on using emotive language alongside persuasive language to engage the reader. Next week, the children will be moving onto 'The Lady of Shallott.' They will be writing a descriptive poem focusing on adverbials.

This week, the children have been learning how to read and interpret timetables. They have been studying Olympic schedules and also learning how to read bus times. Next week, the children will be consolidating their learning and preparing for multiplication and division after half term.
