As a welcome back to school on Monday, we spent the day learning about fair trade and how the decisions we make about the products we buy can have an impact on families who live thousands of miles away. 

We created our own lego farms. Some of our farms were fair trade, we got better prices for the products and our lives were easier, happier and we could improve our farms and our communities. Some of the farms were not fair trade, and our lives were harder and we couldn't afford all of our basic needs such as healthcare and education. 

We created posters about fair trade too!
