Today year 4 celebrated the achievements of Junko Tabei, who was the first woman to reach the summit of Mt Everest. Year 4 made prayer flags in yellow, green, red, blue and white. These are the traditional colours that mountaineers climbing Mt Everest would use. Each colour has a meaning. Year 4 have created a display of their work.
