After analysing the poem, we realised that in fact the questions posed by the poet were in fact not pointless at all, and were rather deep and meaningful reflections on humanity's impact on nature. As a result, we had some wonderful class discussions and produced some wonderful poetry. We planned, drafted and wrote the poems, then spent some time decorating the poems with drawings and images reflecting the nature in the poem. We then had a go at performing our poems aloud.
