What great fun was had on Wednesday afternoon building our very own Saxon village! It may not be completely authentic (goal posts!) but the children worked together showing great enthusiasm, co-operation and communication throughout. We even built our own vegetable plot complete with vegetables! It really enabled the children to empathise with their historical ancestors in learning what it would have been like to have built their own home.
