Inspired by Lila's quest in The Firework Maker's Daughter, children have spent the week creating their own quest adventures. As a class we have faced the lot: dragons, dinosaurs, toy soldiers and even some clockwork robots. The writing the class has produced has been both imaginative and engaging and really showcased the excellent authorial skills 5R are developing.
