6Y were blown away by the dramatic event in Michael Morpurgo's Kensuke's Kingdom - our focus text for English this term. In Chapter 4, a typhoon hit the central characters' yacht in the Pacific Ocean and caused young boy Michael to be stranded. We used this as a starting point for some pastel work on creating mood through colours and shapes in a composition. See below for some examples of our work!
