Weekly Review:
What a fabulous week we have had!
In Maths, we have been learning about angles on a straight line, around a point and in triangles. The children have thoroughly enjoyed their learning this week. Next week, we will be recapping: Fractions, decimals and percentages, word problems, long multiplication and division.
In English, we have continued our text “Pig Heart Boy” by Malorie Blackman and explored some interesting and challenging vocabulary, made predictions and summarised what we have read. In addition to this, we have written a letter linked to the text. Next week, we will be writing and delivering a debate whilst reading further into the text.
In UBBC this week, we have been learning about the digestive system and the circulatory system. The children have taken part in a visual and hands-on learning experience to see how digestion works and also drawn and labelled the circulatory system onto t shirts. Next week, children will be learning about the impact of diet, exercise, drugs and lifestyle on the way their bodies function.
Have a wonderful long weekend Year 6. We are so proud of all your hard work!!!
