This week, we discussed the difference between deduction and inference. Inference: is an interpretation that goes beyond the literal information given. Deduction: is an understanding based on the evidence given in the text.

Using both these skills, we discussed the characters in 'Floodland' by Marcus Sedgwick. After this, we wrote character desscriptions of 3 of the main characters.
