6P have been gripped by our class text, Floodland, this term, and are now at the most exciting part of the story when Zoe makes her break from Eels Island amidst a horrifying battle between rival tribes. Chapter 12 really took us on a journey, both physically through Zoe's desperate and brave escape, but also emotionally from the fear of her entrapment, to the horror of battle, to the relief of being free from Eels Island and the never-ending hope that she might find her parents.
