This week, 6B have blown me away with their beautiful floral artwork inspired by famous artist Georgia O'Keeffe. In the lesson, we found out about her life and how she was inspired by the simplicity of nature often focussing on flowers, animal bones, landscapes and the sky. Her artwork is simple yet detailed and makes you feel happy and one with nature. 

We discussed how she often painted off centre flowers and created smooth textures with colour. 6R did an excellent job at using Georgia's technique to create their own master pieces. Please click on the amazing piece below, they are so wonderful and have really made me smile!
