In RE, we looked at the importance of churches within the Christian faith including what they are used for, how they are used and what they have in them. After looking at the uses of important objects, such as the pulpit and lectern, we focussed on stained glass windows and the stories of Jesus that they tell. The children were then tasked with making their own stained glass windows thinking of a symbol that represented them and those close to them. The results were fantastic.
