On Thursday we celebrated National Poetry Day by reading a poem called 'Which Wild One?'. Then we thought about what animals we  would like to be. We drew our animals and wrote all the interesting verbs and adjectives we could think of for our animal.

Finally, we had a go at writing our own repeated pattern poems about what amazing animal we would like to be. 'Today I choose a...'

Some of the class even had a go at performing their poems with actions!
