On Tuesday 14th we will be having our Stunning Start for our new topic. During the day we will be doing some physical activity, as well as tasting some healthy food. Please remember to come in dressed in your PE kit with a water bottle and hat if the weather is good, and ensure you have sun cream applied.

This week:

The children have has a busy first week of term 6! 

In Maths, we completed enterprise week activities and Miss Watmough, Mrs Watling and Mrs Pellett's groups worked with money, setting up their own shops.

In English, we started our new text for the term, Charlotte's Webb. We have begun to dive in to the book and wrote a diary entry from Fern's point of view.

In the afternoons we have had a PSHE focus, looking at kidneys, rules and children's rights.

 

Next week:

We have a fun and exciting week ahead.

In Maths children will be looking at properties of 2D shapes, with a particular focus on angles. Miss Watmough, Mrs Watling and Mrs Pellett's groups will be starting work on fractions.

 

In English we will continue to study Charlotte's Web. We will look at how to use paragraphs to structure our writing as well as looking at word families.

 

In UBBC in the afternoons, we will be starting our new topic Healthy Humans, looking at the function of the skeleton, joints and muscles. We will also have our Stunning Start on Tuesday!
