Weekly Update 17/6/22
Messages:
On Tuesday 23rd June, adults have been invited to join their child for a freshly cooked school lunch.
Next Friday will be Y3 Sports Day so please send your child into school in the PE kit with a full water bottle. Please also ensure they have had suncream put on as we will be out on the field.
This week:
In Maths, the children have been learning all about angles in shapes.
Miss Watmough, Mrs Watling and Mrs Pellett's groups have been learning about fractions and finding fractions of amounts.
In English, we have been continuing to write diary entries. This week, we wrote from a new perspective.
In the afternoons we have started our new topic, 'Healthy Humans' and the children had an amazing time during our Stunning Start in which they tasted different fruits and vegetables and took part in lots of physical activities. We have also learned about the human skeleton and named some of the bones, muscles and joints in the body.
Next week:
We have an exciting week ahead.
In Maths children will be looking at horizontal, vertical, parallel and perpendicular lines.
Miss Watmough, Mrs Watling and Mrs Pellett's groups will be continuing to look at fractions.
In English we will be writing a letter based around chapter 3.
In UBBC in the afternoons, we will be learning about vertebrates and invertebrates. We will learn about a balanced and nutritious diet.
